This was a total transformation of the interior and exterior of a metal building that was once a church/ masons lodge. I managed the project and worked with the client to create a design inspired by their wedding venue, the Astorian Warehouse.
The client wanted a moody, rustic, warehouse inspired design for the exercise area which we created with a thin brick wall, large warehouse inspired windows, and dramatic crystal lighting. The goal in the adjoining bathroom was to create a spa-like retreat for the client with luxurious finishes and a walk-in double shower.
For the office, the client wanted light and bright and French Atelier inspired design to remind her of her travels to Europe. We created this with a collage of antique mirrors, a custom antique cane back sofa I refinished and reupholstered myself, and a bespoke zinc topped table I created using reclaimed wood after being inspired by a similar antique piece from Round Top.
In the kitchen we got creative to cammoflauge two structural support beams with faux brick arches creating a cozy, European style eat in kitchen. A gallery wall showcasing the family's travels and a few choice antiques complete the look.
